The Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in him by section 72 of the Agriculture Act, 1947(a) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Regulations:—

Citation, Commencement and Construction

1. These Regulations, which may be cited as the Agriculture (Delegation of Pest Control Functions to County Agricultural Executive Committees) (Amendment) Regulations, 1954, shall come into operation on the eleventh day of December, 1954, and shall be read as one with the Agriculture (Delegation of Pest Control Functions to County Agricultural Executive Committees) Regulations, 1948(b) (hereinafter called "the principal Regulations"). The principal Regulations and these Regulations may be cited together as the Agriculture (Delegation of Pest Control Functions to County Agricultural Executive Committees) Regulations 1948 to 1954.

Amendment of Principal Regulations

2. The principal Regulations shall be amended so as to include in the Schedule thereto in addition to the functions of the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries specified therein his functions under the Agriculture Act, 1947, and under the Pests Act, 1954(c) which are specified in the Schedule to these Regulations.

In witness whereof the Official Seal of the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries is hereunto affixed this sixth day of December, nineteen hundred and fifty-four.
