- CONCUR BUYS MID-OFFICE TECHNOLOGY FIRM GDSX

US travel and expense management expert Concur Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:CNQR) announced it had taken over mid-office technology solutions provider GDSX Ltd.

- FINDLY TAKES OVER BERNARD HODES FROM OMNICOM

US online recruitment specialist Findly Inc, backed by private equity firm Symphony Technology Group, said it had acquired New York-based talent communications firm Bernard Hodes Group from Omnicom Group Inc (NYSE:OMC).

- THERMOGENESIS, TOTIPOTENTRX AGREE TO MERGE

US cell-based device technologies specialist ThermoGenesis Corp (NASDAQ:KOOL) and sector firm TotipotentRx Corp said they had agreed to merge and form Cesca Therapeutics, a fully integrated regenerative medicine company.

- ALDRIDGE CLOSES BUY OF HARDING'S IT SERVICES DIVISION

US IT and cloud computing services provider The Aldridge Company said it had wrapped up the takeover of Harding Group's IT Services unit.

- WPP UNIT ACQUIRES CZECH AGENCY H1

UK communications services giant WPP plc (LON:WPP) said that a unit of its fully-owned global media investment management business had bought performance marketing agency H1, which operates in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

- CNMV CLEARS IAG'S TENDER BID TO DELIST VUELING

UK-based International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (LON:IAG) said the Spanish National Securities Market Commission, or CNMV, had approved its tender offer of EUR9.25 (USD12.15) a share for the delisting of Vueling Airlines SA (MCE:VLG).

- AKER SOLUTIONS BUYS INTERNATIONAL DESIGN ENGINEERING AND SERVICES

Norwegian oil service company Aker Solutions ASA (OSL:AKSO) said it had taken over Scotland-based specialist engineering firm International Design Engineering And Services Ltd, or IDEAS, for an undisclosed sum.

- BALLY TECH TO ACQUIRE SHFL IN USD1.3BN DEAL

US gaming technology firm Bally Technologies Inc (NYSE:BYI) has inked a deal to take over peer SHFL Entertainment Inc (NASDAQ:SHFL) for an enterprise value of about USD1.3bn (EUR991m), or USD23.25 per share in cash.

- FRENCH REGULATOR CLEARS AXA, FOSUN ACQUISITION OF CLUB MED

French stock exchange regulator AMF said it had given the go-ahead to the takeover of French resort operator Club Mediterranee SA (EPA:CU), or Club Med, by major shareholders AXA Private Equity and Fosun International Ltd (HKG:0656) for EUR17.50 (USD22.90) per share.

- APPLE NEGOTIATES BUY OF ISRAELI CHIPMAKER PRIMESENSE

US technology giant Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) is holding early-stage talks for the potential acquisition of Israel-headquartered chipmaker PrimeSense Ltd for USD280m (EUR213m).

- NY REGULATOR SCRUTINISES ATHENE, AVIVA DEAL - REPORT

The New York Department of Financial Services is mulling whether to ban the planned USD1.55bn (EUR1.2bn) acquisition of the US life insurance business that belongs to Aviva Plc (LON:AV) by Athene Holding Ltd.
