Accountants value overseas experience.

Accountants regard overseas experience as more important to their career development than workers from other professions, according to a survey carried out by recruitment firm Robert Walters. The survey revealed that half of all accountants see working abroad as either "essential" or "extremely useful", compared with 38 per cent of banking professionals, 46 per cent of lawyers arid 44 per cent of IT workers
