Alfa Laval AB (STO:ALFA), a Swedish heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling company, announced on Tuesday that it has completed the acquisition of Desmet, a specialist in the supply of plants and equipment for the oilseeds & grains industry and the oils & derivatives industry.
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Desmet was acquired from the Desmet Ballestra Group, a provider of processing plants and technologies for the edible oils and biofuel sectors.
