American Eagle Outfitters Closes Acquire Quiet Logistics.

US-based specialty retailer American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE: AEO) has closed the acquisition of US-based fulfillment centres operator Quiet Logistics, Inc. and strategic investments, for USD 350m in cash, to enhance supply chain capabilities, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Quiet Logistics is a supply chain partner that utilizes technology and robotics and has provided cost-effective in-market fulfillment services for AEO.
Services are offered through a network of modern centers, currently operating in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, St. Louis and Jacksonville, locating products closer to need, creating inventory efficiencies, and providing affordable same-day and next-day delivery options to customers and stores.
