the
Canadian
Institute
of
International
Affairs
has
branches
across
Canada
and
offices
in
Toronto,
Quebec
City,
and
Ottawa.
It
is
a
voluntary
and
non-official
organization.
To
assure
maintenance
of
its
non-partisan character,
the
CIIA
is
precluded
by
its
charter
from
the
formal
expression
of
opinion
on
international
questions.
Its
object
is
the
stimulation
of
a
more
informed
public
opinion
in
Canada on
international
affairs
in
general
and
on
Can-
ada's role
and
interests
in
the
world
in
particular.
