Anglo's anti-retrovirals initiative.


Multinational mining giant, Anglo American, is to spend nearly Rl7m a year in providing anti-retrovirals to all of its HIV-positive employees southern Africa-wide.

The cost is estimated at some R500 per worker a month. It will also encourage its operating companies to make the anti-Aids drugs available to HIV-positive employees who do not benefit from a corporate medical scheme.
