Abstract
Title X of the EUUK Trade and Cooperation Agreement addresses cooperation between these
two entities with regards to Anti-money laundering and counter terrorist f‌inancing. While these
provisions state a common desire to pursue common efforts in this domain, there is no denying that
Brexit will impact existing and contemplated cooperation channels.

Introduction
As set out in Council Conclusions dated 5 December 2019, the f‌ight against money laundering and
terrorist f‌inancing remains a high priority for the European Union.

topic should be addressed by the Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) in Part III, Title X.
While being a hot topic, one must nonetheless note that Anti-Money Laundering and Countering
