At least 10 royal aides who worked for the woman are "queueing up" to assist an investigation ordered by the Queen into the bullying claims.

The probe will examine reports that the woman "humiliated" aides and subjected them to "emotional cruelty and manipulation", driving out two personal assistants.

Senior royals are understood to be "dismayed" at claims that young female staff were reduced to tears, with one aide, reportedly anticipating a confrontation with the publicity-shy woman, confiding: "I can't stop shaking."

After the Palace issued a statement announcing the probe, a trailer for the woman and her publicity- CONCERNED: shy husband's Oprah Winfrey television interview was aired.

The footage, released yesterday, showed the woman accusing the Palace of "lies".

In the theatrical 30-second clip, chat queen Oprah, 67, asks: "How do you feel about the Palace hearing you speak your truth today?"
