Access solutions specialist ASSA ABLOY AB (STO:ASSA-B) announced on Wednesday that it has signed an agreement to acquire Alcea, a provider of security supervision software and associated access control hardware, based in France.
Alcea was established in 1995 and has around 120 employees. Together with system partners, it provides total access management solutions. Sales for 2021 amounted to approximately EUR20m (about SEK200m) with a good EBIT margin.
