He denied a third charge of acting aggressively by shouting, swearing, uttering offensive remarks and threats of violence.

The court adjourned the case until August 1 and ordered Donowho to make a personal appearance. ¦ Annan man Andrew Nicholson will go on trial at Dumfries Sheriff Court accused of attacking a woman.

He pleaded not guilty to punching her on the back then pushing her to the floor, pushing her against a door and repeatedly punching her on the face all to her injury at Burnhead, Stapleton Road, on September 11 last year.

The court adjourned the case for trial until July 1.

Nicholson, of Queensberry Court, was granted bail on condition he stays clear of Stapleton Road and refrains from making any contact with the woman.

¦ Dumfries man Krasimin Krasimikov has been ordered to stay clear of trouble for a year.

The 20-year-old, of Brewery Street, pleaded guilty at the town's sheriff court to assaulting a man by lifting him up then dropping him to the ground causing the victim to strike his head off the ground and lose consciousness and suffer permanent disfigurement.

Krasimikov attacked the man at Dumfries High Street on October 16 last year.
