Barking dog's owner is fined after complaints

He also said he did not get on with the neighbour in Alwold Road, Weoley Castle, who had complained about him to Birmingham City Council. But he assured a judge he had now resolved the problem because he was at home and able to spend time with the dog - due to the Home Office wishing to deport him.

Williams pleaded guilty to four counts of failing to comply with an abatement notice at Birmingham Magistrates' Court. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £250 in costs with a £34 victim surcharge.

The council received a complaint about the dog in May last year.

An environmental health officer attended in June and was satisfied

Titan's barking constituted a statutory nuisance. The authority subsequently served a noise abatement notice on Williams.
