Bin Suroor's Blue to shine again in his hat-trick quest

Two of Tregoning's three previous winners were unexposed three-year-olds and Morghom certainly fits that profile with just two novice starts to his name ahead of what will be his handicap debut

After winning a Newbury mile maiden comfortably on his debut, the son of Dubawi seemed a tad disappointing when dropped to 7f and third at the same track next time.

However, this return to a mile should suit, while the winner (Whitebeam) did the form no harm by winning again next time. An opening mark of 90 should be within his capabilities.

Fellow three-year-old Windseeker should appreciate stepping up to a mile and is respected, but the biggest danger is Dubai Mirage.

The five-year-old's first run back on his return from Dubai saw him chase home Dark Shift at Nottingham last month and that's clearly strong form with the winner following in last week's Royal Hunt Cup. Miss Carol Ann is feared most. Roger Varian's filly disappointed in the Fred Darling on her reappearance as she was too keen for her own good. She did attract some market support that day and can do much better on this drop in grade.

Rushford 5.00 Bath, 1m5f handicap Sir Mark Prescott's yard has yet to get rolling, but with summer fast approaching expect that to change soon and Rushford, who hinted as much when winning at Windsor last month, can go in again.

The three-year-old settled much better last time and subsequently turned in a much improved display last time.

The performance was even more taking as he was held up in last in a slowly run affair, yet was always travelling best with defeat never looking likely.

Raised 7lb to 75 for that three-quarter length success, he had more in hand than the winning margin suggests and the handicapper may have trouble keeping tabs on him.

Choirmaster is next best.
