MORGAN GIBBS-WHITE enjoyed a dream debut for the Blades - and finally got their promotion bandwagon up and running.

Slavisa Jokanovic had failed to win his opening five league games since taking charge at Bramall Lane in the summer.

But the acquisition of midfielder Gibbs-White and Conor Hourihane - on loan from Wolves and Aston Villa respectively - has given a huge lift, while Frenchman Iliman Ndiaye looks a star in the making.

Ndiaye (above, with Gibbs-White) and Ben Osborn both scored twice while Gibbs-White and John Fleck also joined in as Peterborough were taken to the cleaners.

Jokanovic, whose side climbed out of the relegation zone, said: "I must be very satisfied as we played very good football.

"I have complained previously that my team has not created enough chances.

"But today we scored six and could have had more. Of course we needed this kind of victory and it's an important three points.

"Most importantly, my players can now trust in themselves that they play good football and win games."

Gibbs-White's neat cross allowed Ndiaye to rifle home a fine opener, but Posh equalised when Jack Marriott capitalised on Jack Robinson's error.

But the Blades let fly in the second half as Fleck drilled in a low rightfoot shot before Osborn tapped home from Billy Sharp, one of three assists for the veteran.
