En breva de Entre en nature de Assize p Edward Butler vers Ann Gray en qui el plead qui non disseiai, sur Evidence done, & sur ceo uii Demurrer enter, le Case fuit, que Edmund Seignior Gray fuit seisi del terre demand in fee & per Indenture dated 30 H. 8. enter Thomas Seignior Awdley, Thomas Seignior Crumwell, William Pawlet Chevalier, & Auters de 1'uu part, & le dit Seignior Edmund Gray de Tauter part, le dit Seignior Edmund bargain et vende al dits Thomas Awdley, Thomas Crumwell & auters le marriage order & government le dit John Gray adonques son fits & heir apparant, ad intentionem maritandi ad appunct & placitum prsedicti Domini Awdley, Domini Crumwell & aliorum, vel assignatorum suorum absque disparagatione, & le Seignior Gray covenant de faire estate del dit terre & auters al value de 1001. per Ann. al dits Seignior Awdeley et auters a tener a eux quousque, &c., pro & erga manutenentionem prsedict. Johan.
