Catex Acquires UK-Based Tax Relief Consultancy Access2Funding.

UK-based funding specialist Catax, a company of global tax services and software provider, has acquired UK-based research and development tax relief consultancy Access2Funding, the company said.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Access2Funding will continue to operate under its own name. Since its founding in 2014, Access2Funding has made more than 1,650 R and D tax credit claims for businesses of all sizes, recovering in excess of GBP 54m (USD 64.6m).

The deal is just the latest in a string of acquisitions that Catax has made since it was founded in 2008.

Catax operates in the R and D tax credits arena and specialises in capital allowances, patent box, grants, and remediation of contaminated land.

Manchester, UK-based Catax was acquired by Ryan in March this year, further strengthening Ryan's R and D global market position, presenting new service offerings...
