Celebs Go Dating's Ulrika Jonsson admits she loves it when fans shout that nickname

The presenter, 54, was given the nickname on wacky panel show Shooting Stars in the 90s by comedy double act Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer

Almost 30 years on, Ulrika told the Daily Star Sunday: “It’s fun when people say it.

“When it happens I think, ‘You’re one of my people. You’re around my age’. When I’m working with people in their 20s, they don’t remember Shooting Stars. The people who say it are usually a bit more mature.”

The show ran for eight series and became one of TV’s best-loved panel shows ever.

Ulrika added: “In its heyday, Shooting Stars was a big thing. We had such a long stint of doing that show. It was definitely one of my top jobs.”

She is back on the box in Celebs Go Dating, which continues tomorrow at 9pm on E4.

On the show, Ulrika was left frustrated after her first date with a man in his 50s.

She was left fuming when she learned that her date, Steve, was two years off turning 60.

She fumed: "Oh Jesus I see an older man. He's 58, he's practically dying."
