Ensuring information is shared lawfullyThe only way that HMRC may lawfully share customer information with the CICA is if the customer has provided consent for us to do so.
IDG30210 provides general information about obtaining customer consent but the specific procedure for obtaining customer consent in the case of CICA is outlined below.
