CIMA chief executive takes early retirement.

John Chester, chief executive of CIMA, has announced that he will take early retirement in April 2001 for personal and health reasons.

"John Chester has served CIMA for six years, first as secretary, and latterly as chief executive. He has presided over a period of considerable growth and increased prestige for the institute," said David Melvill, the chairman of CIMA's appointments committee.
