Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 2 of the Child Abduction and Custody Act 1985, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

3. The Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) Order 1993is amended by deleting the Schedule and substituting therefor the following—

This Order, which is made under the Child Abduction and Custody Act 1985, amends the Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) Order 1993in order to specify that, for the purposes of that Act, Chile and Slovenia are Contracting States to the Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, The Hague, 25th October 1980, with effect from 1st May 1994 and 1st June 1994 respectively.
