Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 2 of the Child Abduction and Custody Act 19851, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

S-1 This Order may be cited as the Child Abduction and Custody...

1. This Order may be cited as the Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) (Amendment) (No.3) Order 1994.

S-2 The Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions)...

2. The Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) (Amendment) Order 19942and the Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) (Amendment) (No.2) Order 19943are revoked.

S-3 The Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) Order...

3. The Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) Order 19934is amended by deleting the Schedule and substituting therefor the following—

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order, which is made under the Child Abduction and Custody Act 1985, amends the Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) Order 19935in order to specify that, for the purposes of that Act, Chile and Slovenia are Contracting States to the Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, The Hague, 25th October 1980, with effect from 1st May 1994 and 1st June 1994 respectively.
