The Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) Order 1991

Made 16th April 1991

At the Court at Windsor Castle, the 16th day of April 1991 Present,The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council Her Majesty, in exerciseof the powers conferred on Her by section 2 of the Child Abduction andCustody Act 19851, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her PrivyCouncil, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

S-1 This Order may be cited as the Child Abduction and Custody...

1. This Order may be cited as the Child Abduction and Custody (Partiesto Conventions) Order 1991.

S-2 The Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) Order...

2. The Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) Order 19862is amended by deleting Schedule 1 thereto3and substituting therefor the following—

This Order amends the Child Abduction and Custody (Parties toConventions) Order 1986. It adds the Argentine Republic to the list ofthe Contracting States to the Convention on the Civil Aspects ofInternational Child Abduction signed at The Hague on 25th October 1980(Cm. 33).
