HERE AS an Act was passed in the Session of Parliament
held in the Eighth and Ninth Years of the Reign of Her

9 Vict.
present Majesty, called "The Ipswich and Bury Saint c-9^*
Edmunds Railway Act, 1845," whereby a Company was incorporated
by the Name of " The Ipswich and Bury Saint Edmunds Railway
Company: " And whereas an Act was passed in the last Session of 9
&

Parliament, intituled An Act to amend " The Ipswich and Bury Saint c*28a
Edmunds Railway Act, 1845," and for making a Railway from the
said Ipswich and Bury Saint Edmunds Railway to Norwich, with a
9 &
10 Vict.
Branch therefrom: And whereas another Act was passed in the last c- 76*
Session of Parliament, called " The Colchester, Stour
Valley,
Sudbury,
and Halstead Railway Act, 1846," whereby a Company was incorpo-
rated by the Name of " The Colchester, Stour Valley, Sudbury, and
Halstead Railway Company: " And whereas it will contribute to the
economical Construction and working of the Railways authorized
by the last-mentioned Act if the Company incorporated thereby are
