Before HHJ Kramer sitting as a judge of the High Court at the Moot Hall, Castle Garth, Newcastle upon Tyne

On 28 July 2020 Anne Walker was found to be in contempt of court in that she:

failed to comply with the Order of the District Probate Registry dated 11th February 2019 and subsequently endorsed with a penal notice and the Seal of the High Court by failing, within 28 days of service of the order, to:

  1. Exhibit on oath a true and perfect inventory of the estate of Richard Walker deceased and render a true and just account of the administration of the estate of the said deceased and file it with the court or
  2. File an affidavit with the court and applicant setting out reasons why the inventory and account cannot be filed.

For her contempt, the Defendant, Mrs Kathryn Anne Walker was committed to HMP Prison Low Newton for 28 days from the date of her apprehension but the warrant of committal is to remain in the court office at the Business and Property Courts in Newcastle upon Tyne and execution of it be suspended so long as the Defendant, Mrs Kathryn Anne Walker do, within 28 days of service of the order upon her, comply with the terms of the Order of the District Probate Registry dated 11th February 2019 referred to above by

  1. Exhibiting on oath a true and perfect inventory of the estate of Richard Walker deceased and rendering a true and just...
