Aborigines
On
2June, the Minister
in
charge
of
Aboriginal Affairs,
in
reply
to aquestion without notice, stated
that
the Commonwealth Govern-
ment intends
to
ensure that discriminatory legislation adverse
to
Aborigines is brought to
an
end
at
both
Federal
and
State levels.

the
Minister·in charge
of
Aboriginal Affairs in the Senate, in reply to aquestion
upon
notice,
listed State legislation containing provisions which could
be
regarded
as discriminatory against "Aborigines
..
Only Queensland
and

Australia were regarded as having any such legislation.

the membership of and the implementation of Australian policy in
the
Legal Committee of the International Civil Aviation Organisation
(which is considering international sanctions
to

On
