Corza Medical Acquires Barron Precision Instruments to Expand Portfolio of Ophthalmic Surgery Products.

US-based surgical technologies company Corza Medical, a portfolio company of Chicago-based private equity firm GTCR, has acquired Michigan-based ophthalmic-focussed medical device company Barron Precision Instruments, LLC (BPI), to expand portfolio of ophthalmic surgery products, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
BPI is in ophthalmic products used in corneal surgeries, delivering unique designs and innovative technologies to patients suffering from corneal disease across the globe.
