Area 4 (West Midlands)

The following member of council is elected to serve from the close of the annual general meeting on 10 June 2000 until the close of the annual general meeting in 2003: Susan Margaret Hoof.

Vacancy in Area 9 (Republic of Ireland)

  1. Notice is given that, as the council member in electoral Area 9 (Republic of Ireland) was elected vice-president of the institute by members at the annual general meeting, it is necessary to seek a new candidate to represent Area 9 on council. Nominations for candidates to fill this vacancy may be made by any six or more members (three of whom must be fellows) whose official addresses (see below) are in the area concerned.

  2. Nomination forms for candidates for election may be obtained from the assistant secretary at 63 Portland Place, London W1B 1AB (fax: 020 7637 5914), e-mail: dbills@cima.org.uk). The area secretary and all branch secretaries in the area concerned also hold nomination forms.

  3. Nominations must be received on the prescribed form by the chief executive by noon on Monday 18 September 2000 (faxes are acceptable but must be followed by the original).

  4. If more than one candidate is nominated for the vacancy, a postal ballot will be conducted. Ballot forms will be sent to each member in the area and must be returned in the envelope provided to the chief executive by those...
