There will be no legislation update for this issue.
It has been decided to wait to see what impact the new coalition
government’s promise to limit the role of the State and respect civil
liberties is going to have on the criminal justice system.
New and amending legislation, and also proposals for change, will, of
course, be reported as soon as possible.
