Croft gears up for massive event

And with nine different winners and more than 15 different podium finishers over the 18 races so far this season, crowds are in for a treat.

Two-time and defending champion Ash Sutton arrives at Croft as the series leader, with four wins under his belt so far and a 30-point advantage over Tom Ingram at the top of the tables.

Laser Tools Racing's title tip has won at Croft four times in the past, but it's been three years since his last so he'll be keen to get back to winning ways.

Ingram, meanwhile, arrives with three wins this season and after his Croft victory just 12 months ago in an event held behind closed doors, the Ginsters EXCELR8 with TracePrice- Cars.com will want to do it again with crowds.

BTC Racing's Josh Cook did the double in North Yorkshire last season and with just seven points to make up behind Ingram, he'll keen to repeat the feat.

As well as Team BMW's King of Croft Colin Turkington, who has a whopping 12 career wins at the circuit, fans can also look forward to seeing Power Maxed Racing's honourary Geordie Jason Plato in action.
