The president of the Czech Republic has removed rate hawks from the central bank's board.

According to Bloomberg, Czech president Milos Zeman has taken measures to revamp the central bank after criticising it for its overly-aggressive interest-rate increases. The apex bank had increased rates in order to help the economy combat one of the fastest increases in living costs in nearly 30 years.
