Dad puts up £20,000 for return of his son

Craig Windsor has put up the five-figure bounty because estranged wife Mihaela Petroi has taken Craig Jr, six, to her homeland.

Former boxer Windsor, 38, says Mihaela, 32, has refused to return to Scotland after flying out more than six months ago.

Now, Windsor - once jailed for attacking a gangland rival - is willing to give money to anyone who helps get the youngster back.

Windsor, who claims he turned his back on crime since being released from prison, said: "Mihaela has fled the country with my boy and it's ripped my heart out.

"She went back to Romania on February 26. I wasn't too happy about it but she said she had paperwork to sign for her uncle and would be back in two weeks.

"After around a week she told me, 'If you want to see Craig again then you will need to come to Romania'.

"She's refused to bring him. The only thing I want in my life is my son back in Scotland. I'm willing to put £20,000 down to anybody if they can get him back."

The former lightmiddleweight boxer, who has been warned by police his life is in danger at least 10 times, was at the centre of a violent tit-for-tat feud with twins Mario and Carlo Rea.

He was also interviewed in connection with the murder of gangster Kevin "Gerbil" Carroll in 2010 after guns used in the killing were found near his gym.
