In a poll recently conducted on behalf of Embarcadero Europe, Database Administrators (DBAS) made their feelings known about the biggest "headaches' they have to deal with. The survey was distributed to 1000 people, with nearly 30% of respondees marking cross-platform syntax as the largest headache in their jobs.

The second largest headache was end-user enquiries with 23% of the poll, demonstrating the need for DBAs to be able to graphically show the relationship between databases to those putting in the requests.
