US-based investment firm Vontobel (SWX: VONN) has agreed to purchase Switzerland-based UBS Swiss Financial Advisers AG, to meet client demand for regionally diversified investment strategies with a global approach, the company said.
The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approvals, will be fully funded with cash from Vontobel's balance sheet, covered by its CET1 and Tier 1 capital ratios...
