BURKE - Glenda Margaret, February 6th 2021. Suddenly at
Ysbyty Gwynedd on the 6th of February 2021, 56 years old. Dear wife of Tony; loving mother to Caryl and Ffion; devoted daughter; faithful sister; caring aunt and a wonderful friend to many. Private service, due to the present restrictions, at Capel y Porth, Porthmadog on Thursday the 18th of February, followed by internment at Treflys Church Cemetery. The hearse will leave Capel y Porth approximately 1:30pm, through Heol Madog and then down Porthmadog High Street, before turning by Siop Fawr on the way to Treflys, so that friends and neighbours may pay their last respects to Glenda if they so wish, in line with the current social distancing rules and restrictions. CHAN - JOAN (nee Slater), February 4, 2021. It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Joan of Abergele (formerly of Jade Garden Restaurant, Llandudno Junction) who died peacefully at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. Loving wife of Ling, dearly loved mum of Stephen, Marie, Michelle and Nicola, treasured nanna and great-nanna, dear sister, mother-in-law, step mother and cherished auntie. Joan will be sadly missed by all those that knew her. Our sincere thanks to the Dementia Team Heather and Shirley, Tina (Crossroads), Ward 9 at YGC, all her carers at Premier Care and Abergele District Nurses who cared for Joan and supported Ling and the family.
