DEMOGRAPHIC CHANGE AND
HOUSING MARKETS
The papers published in this issue were presented at a one-day workshop held
in Glasgow on 15 February 2012. The workshop brought together individuals
carrying out cutting-edge research into the many possible links between
demography and housing along with a large number of participants from aca-
demia, government, charities and business. The workshop was funded by the
Scottish Institute of Research in Economics (SIRE) and the Scottish Eco-
nomic Society (SES). We are grateful to the anonymous referees for reviewing
the papers in a relatively short period of time. Thanks go to Stuart McIntyre
for serving as the workshop rapporteur. Finally, we are grateful to the
authors for allowing the Scottish Journal of Political Economy the opportunity
to publish their work.
