After seeing the 'curse' in action here, Meddy has accepted that she is destined to have her husband leave or die and live forever with the women in her family as company.

In her family it's accepted that this might happen, so when a blind date goes wrong and she uses her taser on a man making uncomfortable sexual advances it's not the most surprising that he swerves the car and dies

Yes, she did mean to shock him a little, but kill him

That was an accident that she didn't see coming at the start of the evening although she did panic that he would be the death of her.

In the event of accidentally killing her blind date, Meddy knows exactly who to turn to.

Her aunties.

Going into this book it seems to be full of death and murder so you might not guess it is also funny, but it's hilarious.

Jesse Sutanto has managed to bring humour to an admittedly dark situation.

The rom-com skirts the edge of being a murder mystery and flips between years long gone with the one who got away, Nathan and the present day when work has never been busier and this dead body is really proving to be quite the challenge.
