North Lanarkshire visit On Tuesday, August, 31, the Rt Rev Kevin Pearson diocesan bishop of the united diocese of Glasgow and Galloway made his first pastoral visit to North Lanarkshire since his election in 2020.

He met with church vestry committee members of St Andrew's Episcopal church in Wishaw. The meeting was led by the rector Rev Richard Kilgour.

Bishop Pearson was accompanied by the dean of the diocese Very Reverend Ruben Preston.

The meeting provided an opportunity to consider the present developing relationship in partnership with the charity Go Together.

The meeting included discussion of possible shared activities on the church site.

Garry King, lead volunteer of the charity, shared the present plans and proposals for the group.

Lodge St Mary Coltness No31 Meetings and social functions have now been resumed.

The next regular meeting will be on Thursday, September 16, at 7pm. This will be a business meeting to pass the accounts for year 2019/20 and 2020/21. On Saturday, September 18, the opening social dance will start at 7.30pm.
