LADYWELL CHURCH The service on Sunday at 11.15am will include the Sacrament of Communion. It will be a bit different from usual as restrictions prohibit serving individually. Masks still need to be worn and hand sanitiser will be provided. Names still need to be taken for track and trace purposes. ALLAN CHURCH The service on Sunday at 11.15am will be led by Rev Peter Gill. Welcome Team 2 on duty. Church of Scotland mitigations are still in place as the church is operating under Scottish Government guidelines but is organised with hand sanitisers and face masks (in case you forget your own). A one-way system is still the order of the day in and out of church. Please note that you use the building at your own risk. Bible Chat Group meets in large hall tomorrow (Thursday) at 2pm. All welcome. Presently the church is lit up red at night as a mark of respect for the Centenary of The Poppy Appeal and Remembrance Day. This will be changing colour tonight (Wednesday) light up purple for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness for one week.

MURRAYFIELD UF CHURCH Services continue in the church hall on Sundays at 10.30am (remember your mask). and also on YouTube at Murrayfield UF Online. The first of our

Advent Connect group meetings is on zoom tonight (Wednesday) at 7.30pm. The Indoor Walking Group is on zoom on Mondays and Fridays at 4pm - details from Jean Hastings; and there is a gentle stroll round Ladywell Park (weather permitting) on Friday at 2pm.

BLAIRLOGIE COUNCILLORS' SURGERIES During current COVID-19 restrictions, Councillors Jim Thomson and Susan McGill are unable to hold face-to-face surgeries. BLAIRLOGIE HERITAGE AND COMMUNITY TRUST The Reading Room premises have been deep cleaned and are available again for meetings or leisure class activities. Subject to ongoing COVID conditions and regulations, the trust is anxious to bring the Reading Room back into use and regular professional cleaning is in place. Any user making a booking will be responsible for COVID precautions, including the use of the hand sanitiser provided and keeping a record of all persons present. The hall has a data projector and connection cables which will work with any laptop, except Apple. It also has a sound system and a music player. Booking conditions and a booking form are on the village website www.blairlogie-scotland.org.There is a public car park nearby. WI NEWS At the November meeting, the local Community Policeman Lee Allan gave an entertaining talk about his duties around the area and gave an insight to the varied roles he plays within the community.
