Dougie vows to keep on raising cash for charity in tribute to wife

He has just presented a second cheque to Prostate Buddies Dumfries and Galloway - following one in September - with the money raised this time through various donations over the last few months

And, instead of sending Christmas cards out, his family decided to donate the money they would have spent to Dougie's chosen charity instead.

Dougie said: "I am looking forward to raising money to help two local charities this year - Prostate Buddies Dumfries and Galloway and the Breast Cancer Buddies who meet every Tuesday at Heathhall Garden Centre.

"These charities are close to our hearts and I hope people will support me in this.

"My Ferrari will now be attending local vehicle events with the Prostate Buddies plus raising awareness for breast cancer as well."

He said: "During the years, Ashley and I have tried to help many charities and this will continue in 2022 in her name.

"She passed away on June 20 last year with secondary cancer.

"She had breast cancer more than seven years ago.

"Ashley loved the Tuesday Breast Cancer Buddies meetings at Heathhall
