Provisional Orders set out in the schedule to this Act : And whereas a Provisional Order made by the Board of Trade under the authority of the said Acts is not of any validity or force whatever until the confirmation thereof by Act of Parliament : And whereas it is expedicnt that the several Provisional Orders made by the Board of Trade under tEic authority of the said Acts as set out in the schedule to this Act be confirmed by Act of Parliament : Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty by and mitli the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal and Commons in this present Parliament assemblcd and by the authority of the same as follows :- 1. This Act may be cited as the Electric Ligliting Orders Short title. Confirmation (No. 6) Act 1900. 2. This Order inay be cited as the Barmouth Electric Lighting Order Sllorttitlp. 2. The provisions contained in the schedule to the Elcctric Ligliting Incorporation (Clauses) Act 1S99 (with the exception of sections 83 and Y4 of that schedulc) ~h~,';l~cctric 3. The Undertakers for the purposes of this Order and within the meaning Undertakcrs. 1900. are incorporated with and form part of this Order. (( I:iuscs) Act 1899. of section 2 of the schedule to the Electric Lighting (Clauses) Act 1899 are the Urban District Council of Bxmouth. 4. The area of supply for the purposes of this Order and within the Areaof meaning of section 4 of the schedule to the Electric Lighting (Clauses) Act 1899 shall be the area which is described in the First Schedule to this Order and is more particularly delineatcd upon the map deposited together with this Order at tlie Board of Trade by the Undertakers and signed by an assistant secretary to the Board of Trade. 5. Suhject to the provisions incorporated with this Order the TJndertakcrs 1'ower to are specially authorised by this Order to break up the streets not repairable ::::::!& by the local authority which are mentioned in the Second Schedule to this Order and the railways which are also mentioned in that schedule. G. The streets and parts of streets throughout which the Undertakers are Compulsory to lay down suitable and sufficient distributing mains for the purposes of general supply within a period of two years after the commencement of this Order as mentioned in section 21 of the schedule to the Electric Lighting (Clauses) Act 1899 are those mentioned in the Third Schedule to this Order. 7. The maximum prices which niay be charged by the Undertakers as hI:lxill1um pnccs. iiientioned in section 32 of the schedule to the Electric Lighting (Clauses) Act 1899 are those stated in the Fourth Schedule to this Order. 8. This Order shall come into force upon the day when the Act confirniing Commence. this Order is passed and that day for the purposes of the Electric Lighting (Clauses) Act 1899 shall be the comniencement of this Order. The whole of the Urban District of Barn~outh as constituted at the commencement of this Order. SECOND SCHEDULE. STREETS :- Road leading from main road in a south-westerly direction past the southern end of St. David's Church to the Old Bath House Road leading out of High Street opposite the entrance to the Cambrian Railway Station in a north-easterly direction to St. Georgc's Church. (b.) RAILWAYS :- The following level crossings over the Cambrian Railway :- In Park Road leading to recreation ground : At railway station on the road leading from Beach Road to the In rod passing in front of St. David's Church tG Sendwan. FOURTH SCHEDULE. Nazimum Prices. In this schedule- The expression " unit" shall mean the energy contained in a current of one thousand ampAres flowing under an electro-motive force of one volt during one hour. SECTION 1. Where the Undertakers charge any consumer by the actual amount of energy supplied to hiin they shall he entitled to charge him at tlic following rates per quarter For any amount up to twenty units thirteen shillings and fourpence and for each unit over twenty units eightpence. SECTION 2. Where the Undertakers charge any consumer by the electrical quantity contained in the supply given to hini they shall be entitled to chargc hini according to the rates set forth in scction 1 of this schedule the amount of energy supplied to him being taken to be the product of that electrical quantity and the declared pressure at the consumer'b terminals that is to say such a constant pressure at those terminals as niuy be declared by thc Undertakers under the Board of Trade regulations.
