Release date- 13052022 - In appreciation of your support, EVA Air has been implemented validity extension for Infinity MileageLands membership tier.

A 24-month card tier validity extension is applied to Diamond Card, Gold Card and Silver Card members whose original card tier expiry date ranges from 2022/08 to 2024/04. The new expiry dates after extension would vary by month, from 2024/08 to 2026/04.

The above validity extension has been automatically processed in order by system, and no plastic card with new validity will be delivered. Members are encouraged to make use of the digital card function on EVA Mobile App or log in to Infinity MileageLands 'Manage My Account' on EVA Air official website to check up their latest card status and validity. In addition, members can provide their membership numbers to an agent at the time of reservation or upon airport check-in to ensure successful mileage credit and enjoy membership benefits as well.

Regarding limited travel opportunities caused by the pandemic, and to offer members more flexibility in planning upcoming travels with award miles, electronic upgrade certificates, Duty Free Coupons, Evergreen Hotels Accommodation Vouchers, and E-Coupons for EverFun Travel (hereinafter referred to as award miles and certificates/vouchers), the following adjusted measures will be undertaken:

Award miles and certificates/ vouchers with validity from 2022/06~2023/02 have been extended to 2023/03. Please refer to EVA AIR's website-Infinity MileageLands-Manage My Account for more information.

Additionally, the validity extension campaign announced back on 29DEC, 2021 can still be in conjunction with this one. Whether you have already fulfilled the requirement of at least a plan, or are just about to take part in, the validity of the award miles and certificates/vouchers will be automatically extended for 9 or 18 months by 2023/03 depending on the Plan(s) satisfied. The detailed information for the adjustment of the previous extension campaign, please refer to the following information:

Campaign Details:

Campaign Period remained unchanged: 2022/1/1~ 2022/12/31 (Applicable to travel dates and mileage-earning activity).

Validity change for award miles and certificates/vouchers: with expiration dates 2023/03.

Campaign Guidelines remained unchanged: After completing an eligible mileage-earning activity during the campaign period, the validity of Infinity MileageLands members' award miles and certificates/vouchers will be extended by 2023/03.

Extension Plan: (In view of the adjustment for applicable validity, the extension dates have been changed in item 3 accordingly.)

Infinity MileageLands members who had earned at least 1 mile from the following activities: flying on EVA Air/UNI Air international flights or Star Alliance member carrier flights, Purchasing Miles, making purchases from the EVA Mileage Mall, completing accommodations from EVA Mileage Hotel and accrual of award miles from other partners (excluding transfer/return of miles from/to other Infinity MileageLands members), the qualifiers will be eligible for validity extension for 9 months. (co-brand credit cards please see plan 2)

For newly applied co-brand credit cards (Cathay United Bank EVA Air Co-Brand Signature Card is not included) or accrual of 1,000 award miles from a single transaction with a co-brand credit card, qualifiers will be eligible for a validity extension for 9 months.

Plan 1 and 2 can be stacked. Members who conform to both plans will enjoy a total of 18 months extension. The table below illustrates the validity extension pattern:

A member with unused award miles expected to expire in 2023/03 applies for a co-brand credit card on 2022/03/22:

The unused award miles that are expected to expire in 2023/03, the validity will be extended for 9 months by 2023/03, with new expiration dates: 2023/12.

A member with unused award miles expected to expire in 2023/03 has mileage credited to his/her Infinity MileageLands account after flying with Star Alliance Airline Partners on 2022/07/05. Additionally, if the member has earned 1,000 miles with a co-brand credit card on 2022/07/15:

The unused award miles that are expected to expire in 2023/03, the validity will be extended for 18 months by 2023/03, with new expiration dates: 2024/09.
