SCHEDULE
Article 2
THE SEA FISH INDUSTRY AUTHORITY (LEVY) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1992
Whereas the Sea Fish Industry Authority (hereinafter referred to as “the Authority”) has decided to reduce the existing rates of levy used for the purpose of financing its activities following a request to do so by Ministers;
Now, therefore, the Authority, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 4 of the Fisheries Act 19813, hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Sea Fish Industry Authority (Levy) (Amendment) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on the day on which the Confirmatory Order by Ministers comes into force.
2. Interpretation
In these Regulations “principal Regulations” means the Sea Fish Industry Authority (Levy) Regulations 1988 which are set out in the Schedule to the Sea Fish Industry Authority (Levy) Regulations 1988 Confirmatory Order 19894.
3. Amendment of principal Regulations
For the Schedule to the principal Regulations there shall be substituted the following Schedule—
