Coming into force 4th July 1997

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretaries of State respectively concerned with sea fishing in Scotland and Northern Ireland and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(1) and 6(2) of the Fishery Limits Act 19761and now vested in them2and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:—

S-1 Title and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Fishing Boats (Specified Countries) Designation (Variation) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 4th July 1997.

S-2 Variation of the Fishing Boats (Specified Countries) Designation Order 1996

Variation of the Fishing Boats (Specified Countries) Designation Order 1996

2. The Fishing Boats (Specified Countries) Designation Order 19963shall be varied by substituting, for Schedule 2 to that Order, the Schedule to this Order.
