I felt that two of the articles you published in September--"The balanced score card" and "The management accountant's role"--were particularly interesting and important in light of the recession. They both stressed the need for business awareness among management accountants.
Consider the development of key performance indicators, for example: if their designers have a poor understanding of the business, they are likely to come up with a theoretical set of indicators...
