GlacierPoint Acquires Southern Ice Cream and Gourmet Foods to Expand Distribution Platform.

New York-based fresh and frozen foods distributor GlacierPoint Enterprises, Inc. has acquired North Carolina-based ice cream distributor Southern Ice Cream and Gourmet Foods, serving the Carolinas, to expand the GlacierPoint's distribution platform, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The GlacierPoint and Southern partnership expands the combined company's geographic footprint, now extending from South Carolina north to the US/Canadian border.
