GM Security Technologies Acquires Scure to Expand Across APAC Region.

Puerto Rican cyber defense and digital payment security provider GM Security Technologies (Sectec) has acquired a majority stake in Australia-based payment security and security Software as a Service (SSaas) Scure Pty Ltd to drive growth across APAC and expand PCI compliance SaaS offering, the company said.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition amplifies GM Sectec's existing presence in Australia and New Zealand, and provides a foundation for accelerated growth across Asia Pacific's markets.

In addition, Scure's cloud-based cybersecurity services are an addition to GM Sectec's product portfolio and support its mission to provide Cyber Defense, Governance and Fraud Prevention Software as a Service.
