Good Morning Britain's Laura Tobin had some bad news for Brits hoping to flock to beer gardens next week as she made a bleak prediction for weather for the week ahead.

After Boris Johnson confirmed on Monday night that plans for pubs and restaurants to serve customers outside would indeed go ahead on April 12, venues up and down the land had an influx of bookings from excited punters.

Over the past few weeks, many business owners have been readying new al fresco drinking and dining areas, with marquees going up, picnic tables being brought in and fire pits installed.

And the latter might come in very handy for next Monday as GMB's resident weather presenter Laura warned that the weather would be in stark contrast to what we experienced last week when the rule of six was re-introduced for people to meet outside.

Looking ahead to next week on Tuesday's show, Laura, who gave her forecast on location from a pub decked out ready for its grand re-opening, said: "There's tents, there's awnings, there's gazebos; everything's been popping up around the country waiting for the big excitement on Monday when we continue to see lockdown restrictions easing.

"But let me tell you it's going to be cold! It stays cold; the outlook with this northerly blast.
