After hearing Counsel, as well on Monday the 16th, as Tuesday the 17th, Thursday the 19th, Friday the 20th, Monday the 23rd, Tuesday the 24th, Thursday the 26th, and Friday the 27th days of June last, upon the Petition and Appeal of the Governor and Company of the Bank of England, of Threadneedle-street, in the City of London, praying, That the matter of the Order set forth in the Schedule thereto, namely, an Order of Her Majesty's Court of Appeal, of the 21st of May 1889, might be reviewed before Her Majesty the Queen in Her Court of Parliament, and that the said Order might be reversed, varied, or altered, and that the Judgment of the Queen's Bench Division of the High Court of Justice, of the 2nd of November 1888, might be reversed and Judgment entered for the Petitioners, or that the Petitioners might have such other relief in the premises as to Her Majesty the Queen, in Her Court of Parliament, might seem meet; as also upon the printed case of Vagliano Brothers, lodged in answer to the said Appeal; and due consideration had this day of what was offered on either side in this Cause:
It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, in the Court of Parliament of Her Majesty the Queen assembled, That the said Order of Her Majesty's Court of Appeal, of the 21st of May 1889, and also the said Judgment of the Queen's Bench Division of the High Court of Justice of the 2nd of November 1888, complained of in the said Appeal, be, and the same are hereby Reversed; and that Judgment be entered in the Action for the Defendants below, with Costs: And it is further Ordered, That the Respondents do...
