He paid for a melt, a bag of crisps, four cookies and a hot sandwich deal -with a £11.80 bill. But when delivery and service was included, he ended up being charged £261.39

He fumed: "No wonder they can pay you megabucks. Just been charged £249 for a delivery from Just Eat. All jokes, probably get it back, but bloody hell is my order coming on a flight"

He has since had the extortionate fee refunded -and was also given £25 off his next order. Liam told the Liverpool Echo : "For a big company, this shouldn't happen really.

"They have rectified it now, but I think it is important when you're paying on your card over the internet and phone that you do check things." He later joked on Facebook: "If I don’t get a Greggs sponsorship after this I’ll be fuming."
