Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 2(5) of the Health Service Commissioners Act 19931, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Health Service Commissioner for England (National Blood Authority) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 1st January 1995.

S-2 Designation as body subject to investigation

Designation as body subject to investigation

2. The National Blood Authority is hereby designated as a Special Health Authority to which section 2 of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993 (health service bodies subject to investigation by the Health Service Commissioner) applies.
