Speaking in a video, she said: "When my kids were really young, I used to always travel with a few uninflated balloons. Not the small kind that are choking hazards but these, the larger ones that are bigger than your own tongue

"It's a great toy. It takes up no room in your bag and it can be instantly inflated when a child needs to work off a lot of pent up energy, which is a lot. And it's better than a ball because you can hit a balloon as hard as you want.

"And it never travels that far and it really doesn't harm anything. Watch." She then proceeded to throw the balloon at a bedside lamp, a cup of tea and the TV before her kid throws it at her face.

"But when you travel," she continued, "you just have a lot of long waits ahead of you. Whether to get on the plane or your luggage, baggage claim, your rental car, maybe it's a table at a restaurant to eat dinner and to have something that can create a diversion is really nice to have.
